Are you looking for ways to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy?
If so, you’re in the right place!
When I got pregnant, one of my biggest fears was getting stretch marks. I started using this all natural belly butter that helps encourage collagen reproduction, improves your skin’s elasticity, hydrates, moisturizes and helps your skin stretch without scarring.
And guess what? It worked! I got no stretch marks during my pregnancy. I’m excited to share this product with new moms but first, lets really understand what stretch marks are so we can learn how to prevent them effectively…
What Are Stretch Marks?
Stretch marks are thin lines that form on the skin due to rapid stretching. Commonly seen during pregnancy, they result from the skin expanding to accommodate a growing baby. Initially appearing pink, red, or purple, they may eventually fade to a silvery-white hue. Although it’s a natural aspect of pregnancy, many women seek ways to prevent them or reduce their visibility.
Can Stretch Marks Be Prevented?
Although genetics influence stretch mark development, you can reduce their likelihood. Essential steps include moisturizing and enhancing skin elasticity. The belly butter I am recommending was made specifically for this purpose, offering effective stretch mark prevention.
What Is The Secret To Preventing Stretch Marks During Pregnancy?
Preventing stretch marks during pregnancy is all about keeping your skin super moisturized and flexible. The belly butter I mention below has ingredients like shea butter, cocoa butter, and natural oils that deeply nourish your skin. This makes it more elastic and able to stretch without leaving marks.
How To Prevent Stretch Marks During Pregnancy With Natural Belly Butter
Stretch marks CAN be prevented with the right products. The most important thing you need to do from the beginning of your pregnancy to even after your baby is born, is stay moisturized all over your body because stretch marks can appear anywhere. The most common areas are your stomach, breasts, arms and inner thighs.
I love this natural belly butter from Veenourish. It kind of smells like chocolate because of the cocoa butter. If you don’t know what a belly butter is, let me try to describe it….
It’s almost like a lotion but, lotion is made with water, emulsifiers and preservatives. This belly butter is made with only butters and oils and it does not require water, emulsifiers or preservatives so it is 100% natural.
It’s thicker than lotion, kind of hard but melts instantly when you apply it on your skin. It’s much more moisturizing than a lotion and keeps you moisturized longer than a lotion. You can use it all over your body, even your face and it won’t break you out or make you feel too oily.
How To Use Belly Butter To Prevent Stretch Marks Effetively
I started using the belly butter immediately after I found out I was pregnant and I did not miss a day! But, I forgot all about my boobs!
HUGE mistake!
My breasts grew about a cup during my pregnancy and my skin wasn’t ready to stretch as much as it did and I did not apply the belly butter on that area at all. I don’t know why I thought that only my stomach would stretch. That’s why I recommend you moisturize all over the moment you find out you are pregnant.
I truly regret not moisturizing all over. I used the belly butter on my stomach every day and I got no stretch marks there. It really just shows that this product actually does works and that’s why I want other new moms to know about it. I will definitely be using this product the next time I get pregnant.
Stretch marks are beautiful but, if there’s a way to prevent them why not try?
By the way, at first the stretch marks I got on my breasts were very dark and noticeable but I’ve been applying the belly butter on the stretch marks every day and night and it has even helped them fade away and now you can barely even see them now. 10/10 recommend.
Use the belly butter all over your body daily, morning and night. Then, reapply throughout the day as needed. GOODLUCK!

I personally believe that it is genetic. I don’t think that it hurts to try and prevent them but I know a lot of people who have tried a lot of products and were very religious with them but still got stretch marks. I didn’t do anything and never got stretch marks.
Vanessa Alvarez says
WOW you are so lucky! But they also might not be using the right products for their skin. For example, I’ve heard great things about coconut oil. Thousands of people have prevented stretchmarks using it. But, when I gave it a try, it dried my skin so bad it began to crack. So, I immediately stopped using it and went back to the products I mentioned and my skin got better. So yea, it doesn’t hurt to try. But if one product is not working, maybe switch it up.

Love this article! I used bio oil with both of my pregnancies and didn’t get stretch marks, but my mom had them really bad. Honestly, I’m not sure if it’s genetic or not, but like you said, if my mom had them and her mom had them I would think that I would get them! Who knows?
Vanessa Alvarez says
Yea who knows. I really wanted to share what worked for me because it can work for other people too! I will be using these same products my next pregnancy and hopefully it works again and they really aren’t genetic.
Milaya says
I definitely think they are genetic as well!
Vanessa Alvarez says
A lot of people think they are. I’m not a doctor but I really think they aren’t.
melinda cummings says

I had horrible stretch marks with my kids. My doctor once told me that it’s definitely better to moisturize as it may help, but a lot of it is also hereditary.
Vanessa Alvarez says
I’ve had doctors tell me its genetic and others have told me it’s not. From my experience, I’ve seen that they aren’t because my mom got them and I didn’t.

Marie says
I never did anything to treat stretch marks, but was lucky enough to not get them. But I had friends who religiously treated their bellies and still got them, so I do think genetics plays at least a small part. It is so hard to tell.
Lizzie Lau says
I wish I had known this when I was a kid. I was tall and skinny, and during a growth spurt I got stretch marks on my thighs.
